Why the name Ebenezer ?
In 1 Samuel 7:9-12 we hear the story of the children of Israel in battle with the Philistines, the children of Israel cried unto Samuel that the Lord deliver them out of the hands of the enemy.
"And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines. And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered [it for] a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him. And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel. And the men of Israel went out of Mizpeh, and pursued the Philistines, and smote them, until [they came] under Bethcar. Then Samuel took a stone, and set [it] between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it *Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us."

Hello friends, a little about me
I was longing to go to church for some time after I had seen that God had heard my Prayer. When in my early teens my family and I came to be in very dangerous situations at times. I prayed to God to help us and He did, our family was spared from many gun robberies. I was very grateful to God, having seen these deliveries and others. My confidence was being built in God. I always felt close to him looking in the sky and praying, I often went to church on new years eve and at funerals etc. I had a desire to go to church regularly but never did at the time. Being careful not to enter the false churches as I saw that the Bible and other false doctrines were mixed in together. I waited on God, and he led me to His True Church and His people, A “would you like to come to church with me" was an invite from a friend. Little did she know that God was using her. For I entered into the right church I knew nothing of the Sabbath, except that I saw my neighbors going to church on Saturday.
At this church our Sabbath evening Bible studies would be taken from the Great Controversy, also youth meetings on Fridays was from the book Christian Services. I knew only a little of the book Revelation before entering Church. But God helped me to understand who Jesus was, and why His death was significant. Thus God lead me on from that point to understand why He raised up the
God has abundance for us to benefit from to prepare us for his second coming; the Bible, Spirit of Prophecy, and computer resources such as E-Sword and many more.
Study and look at Jesus is the key. God wants us to be real, this is what he ask, believe what you believe, or soon your belief will not be a belief if you really do not believe.
